Germanys Loco Dice regularly DJs some of technos most hedonistic clubs, but on his second album, he steps away from peak time and slinks into the shadows. Leavin Brooklyn and You Shine turn tech-house grooves into melancholy mood pieces, while Metaphors folds Neneh Cherry into bumping electro-soul and Burn Ca$h Ash takes aim at superstar DJs (with some help from the typically acerbic Miss Kittin). Its not all so chill, though: Sending This One Out is an acid-soaked rave throwback, and Keep It Low seethes over jacking drum machines and growling bass.
