On his third album, and his first for Will Saul's Aus label, Glasgow's Sei A proudly wears his heart—and his range—on his sleeve. His techno roots are audible in the darkly throbbing "Ancestors", but most of the record follows a patient, starry-eyed path: "Morning Soldier" sparkles in slow motion, "Trails of Gold" pairs gleaming synth melodies with stately drums and "Exit" is a beatless swirl of voice and keys. Will Samson's airy falsetto gives "Space In Your Mind" a hint of Bon Iver, while the bell-ringing "Kalstar" is house music at its gentlest.
