Dubstep, trance and pop collide on producer Seven Lions' <i>Worlds Apart</i> EP, and the results are as forceful as a punch to the gut and as light as a dandelion tuft on the wind. While instrumental "Nepenthe" winds its way through parade snares, chainsaw bass riffs and shimmering progressive house, the vocal cuts really show off his range. Ellie Goulding's breathy voice is the perfect foil for the chimes and soaring climax of "Don't Leave", while Tove Lo flies like a silver bullet through fizzy synths and side-chained pulses on "Strangers".
