Top contemporary composer Tanishk Bagchi takes a step beyond remix culture to revise two of his recent hits for Shilpi Dasgupta’s dramedy <i>Khandaani Shafakhana</i>. "Sheher Ki Ladki" (from the 1996 film <i>Rakshak</i> and originally sung by Abhijeet and Chandana Dixit) gets a stomping reggaeton remake with new bars from Badshah. The rapper—who makes his acting debut in the movie—also delivers the spirited "Saans Toh Le Le”. Meanwhile, Tanishk tempers the mood with gentle love songs like "Dil Jaaniye" and "Bheege Mann".
