“This month’s mix is a particularly atmospheric and moody one—recorded in midwinter here in the UK, when it felt like we might never see the sun again,” John Digweed tells Apple Music, introducing the latest volume of Compiled & Mixed. “Highlights to listen out for this time around include two tracks from Semoha Homes from his soundtrack to the film <i>Return to Planet Underground</i>, which is set in the Dutch techno scene. There’s two tracks from the Swedish producer Elfenberg too—both ‘Vasastan’ that opens the mix and ‘Thank You for Your Patience’ are perfect home-listening electronica I think you’ll love. I’m finishing this mix with the iconic ‘Song of Life’ from Leftfield, with Framewerk doing what they do best, turning it into a breaks anthem.”
