“This 42nd edition of Compiled & Mixed takes things across a wide spectrum—from progressive breaks to reggaetón and drum ’n’ bass,” John Digweed tells Apple Music, introducing his April 2025 mix. “Things start off on a chilled note with one of the biggest tracks from last year released on my Bedrock label—Paul Roux’s ‘Hold On’, this time reworked into a breaks edit that brings a fresh twist to the original. Elsewhere, Sasha and Artche team up for a remix of ‘Hold On’, a track that’s been creating some truly emotional moments on dance floors this month. This mix definitely takes a 180 towards the end, shifting gears away from progressive breaks. Alex Medina’s ‘Rompe Disco’ leads things into Italo house/reggaetón territory before we hit the climax with the massive D’n’B basslines and reggae vocals of Ostr-size – ‘Vibrations (Untold Reflections)’.
