The award-winning DJ/producer makes it a priority to platform “creatives pushing boundaries and representing the future of Afro-house and electronic music as a whole” and you can expect the same calibre of curation from this exclusive mix series, which kicks off ahead of his first Ibiza residency at Chinois with this August 2025 edition. With tracks from some of Shimza’s favourite South African producers—including Bun Xapa and TiMO ODV—playing alongside vocal anthems like “Ungubani” from Kreative Nativez and Dr. Feel, as well as his own remix of James Hype’s “Don’t Wake Me Up”, this mix is the perfect introduction to Shimza’s vibrant sonic universe. “It’s a dream for me to see our culture and music spreading good vibes around the world,” he says. “Shimza & Co. isn’t just a party, it’s a movement.”
