With the breakneck riffage of the opening title track, prolific six-string virtuoso Richie Kotzen kicks off <i>24 Hours</i> on an impressive rock ‘n’ roll note. He keeps the party goin’ on the swaggering “Get It On”, an ode to, well, you know. “Bad Situation” slows things down a little, with bold organ and wailing guitar lines creating a sweltering mood, and “Twist of Fate” ends the record with Kotzen’s passionate vocals over sparse acoustic guitar, eventually exploding into a transcendent, piano-led climax.
