“This mix is a high-energy, 60-minute journey through the sounds that define me,” Rue Jay tells Apple Music of this DJ mix. That journey begins with Danny Cruz and Mark Funk’s warm 2018 cut “Superlovin”, then winds through tracks spanning, as Jay puts it, “every corner of house music”. Expect nods to New York pioneer Todd Terry and Chicago legend Chuck Roberts (who lends his voice to Jay’s own 2025 track “The Creator” alongside Low Steppa and Reza) as well as an embrace of the UK’s finest—including Sam Divine, Route 94, WEISS and Steve Lawler. Plus, of course, some of Jay’s own cuts and remixes, including “Plastic Dreams”, which pays tribute to the 1992 Jaydee original. Expect, says Jay, a “blend of fresh IDs, timeless classics and exclusive heaters you won’t hear anywhere else!”
