For the August 2026 edition of Planet Perfecto, <b>Paul Oakenfold</b> treats us to a selection of cuts from his <i>Mission Underground</i> album which dropped on 31 July. “The album moves through techno, tech house and trance, revisiting some of the classics I played back in the day and reworking them to sound fresh in 2026,” he tells Apple Music. Opening proceedings is a new take on <b>“Masquerade”</b>, his 2026 collab with <b>2LOT</b>. “Here, you’ll hear the Full on Fluoro remix,” says Oakenfold. “Many of you will know that Full on Fluoro is the name I give to the harder, more psychedelic side of my trance sound—something I’ve loved from the beginning of my career and showcased first on my now-legendary <i>The Goa Mix</i>.” There are plenty more new looks for club classics here too. “Everyone knows <b>Binary Finary</b>’s legendary <b>‘1998’</b>, one of the standout tracks from my residency at Cream. For the album, we worked with <b>Marie Vaunt</b> to bring it right up to date. Another one to check out is <b>Argy</b>’s take on one of the most iconic records Perfecto has ever released: <b>Planet Perfecto Knights</b>’ <b>‘Resurection’</b>.”
